Wellbeing

Researchers at the University of Toronto's Quality of Life Research Unit define quality of life as “The degree to which a person enjoys the important possibilities of his or her life”. Their Quality of Life Model is based on the categories “being”, “belonging”, and “becoming”, respectively who one is, how one is connected to one's environment, and whether one achieves one's personal goals, hopes, and aspirations. In our practices, we strive at improving such qualities by promoting a better diet, more exercise which will enhance mobility and Chiropractic adjustments which help balance the body better.

Chiropractors are very keen at improving their patients Health and Wellbeing. It is inherently, every Chiropractor’s role to promote good health by encouraging his/her patients towards a natural, drug free approach to better health. There is no doubt that Medical interventions/care will form part of our lives at some point but would life not be better if we took more action and better responsibility of our own health and wellbeing. Once we realise that optimal health can come from looking after ourselves better by what we eat, drink, by the level of exercise that we do and by the type of care we choose to better ourselves , we could start functioning better.
