In order to achieve mental vitality, you need to be physically vital, since effective supply of oxygen and nutrients are important to the functioning of the brain and thought processes.

Emotional vitality means having a positive attitude, such that you are happy, enthusiastic and joyful. This enables you to deal with various problems and stresses and to remain healthy.
